I started out in high school wanting to go into theater. I worked stage crew, took A/V classes, went into the theater dept., acted in plays, everything I could do. When I went to college, I decided to go for my other love; music. I got a degree in classical guitar performance from University of West Florida, but realized that a career in classical
guitar performance wasn't feasable, and a life spent teaching didn't interest me.
That's when I decided to fall back on my love of theater. If I couldn't entertain with my classical guitar, I decided I could entertain with my voice. My ears are very good, having been trained in voice training and music theory, so audio engineering is right up my alley. I'm always interested in furthering my knowledge of voice over, acting, and audio production, which is why I'm seeking to intern with Robert Bryan of Bryan-Presley
Studios.
Now, I work for a radio station, NewsRadio 1620 AM in Pensacola. It may only be one
step in my path to a career in voice over, but it's one heck of a huge step.
It's a long, hard road, this life of voice over. But it's what I want to do, and I believe it
could be a good career for me. I hope you're having fun on my site, and I hope to work
with you in the future!
